Tekmando LOTO · in development
Every isolation point, up to date and proven.
Accurate lockout procedures, written or validated by the people who lock out, on the floor, and proof that the procedure was followed.
What we hear in the field
Procedures that are too vague
Written by someone who never has to lock out, without breaker numbers or the details of each isolation point.
Procedures that go stale
On paper or in a PDF: the equipment changes, the procedure doesn't.
Little or no proof
A signature on a sheet, a paper log, or nothing at all.
What we're designing
One procedure per machine
Every isolation point identified, with photos, and a version approved by your qualified person.
Proof, step by step
Locks applied, zero-energy verification, removal: each step is signed and dated. When a contractor does the work, the plant and the contractor each receive the confirmation, attached to the service report.
Contractors by QR code
The contractor scans your site's code, you approve their access, and they only see the equipment assigned to them, for the duration of the job.
On the floor, even offline
On a phone or on a shared station tablet, without requiring a phone for every employee.
Your rules, where you are
Each site follows the rules of its jurisdiction. We're starting with Québec: in plants, the Regulation respecting occupational health and safety (sections 195 to 207); on construction sites, the Safety Code for the construction industry (subdivision 2.20).
The rest of Canada, the United States and Mexico will follow.
The content of your procedures and their approvals remain the responsibility of your organization and its qualified person.
One price per site
Unlimited users: all your employees and contractors, with no per-seat count.
Waitlist and pilot program
Tekmando LOTO is being developed in Québec first. Join the list to hear when it reaches your region.
